Legal Framework & Guidelines

Terms of Service

All terms mentioned here are fully binding as per the Carriage by Road Act, 2007. Sanjeev Cargo Carrier ensures operational precision and complete framework transparency.

Delhi / NCR Jurisdiction

Service Engagement

01

By booking a shipment with Sanjeev Cargo Carrier (SCC), the client enters into a professional service agreement governed by the protocols set by our founder, Sanjeev Phogat. This contract ensures mutual trust and legal clarity for all interstate vehicle movements.

Vehicle Preparation

02

It is the client's responsibility to ensure the vehicle is empty of personal belongings, has a fuel level between 10-15%, and is in a movable condition for loading. SCC is not liable for any items left inside the vehicle or pre-existing mechanical conditions.

Transit & Insurance

03

We provide comprehensive transit insurance for all relocations. Any transit-related damage must be reported and documented on the Consignment Note at the time of delivery before the final sign-off. Post-delivery claims are not entertained.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

04

Any cancellation made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup may attract a nominal processing fee. Rescheduling is subject to vehicle slot availability and must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance to avoid convenience charges.

Delays & Force Majeure

05

While SCC maintains a 100% on-time record, we are not liable for delays caused by natural disasters, strikes, state-border lockdowns, or unforeseen mechanical failures of the carrier. We ensure constant GPS updates during such events.

Billing & Payment

06

Service quotes are transparent with no hidden charges. A booking amount is required for confirmation, and the final balance must be cleared as per the agreed schedule (either before or during delivery). Tax and Octroi charges are extra as per actuals.

Customer Liability

07

The client warrants that they are the legal owner of the vehicle or have the authorization to move it. Any legal issues regarding vehicle ownership or unpaid bank loans/hypothecation are the sole responsibility of the client.

Legal Jurisdiction

08

In case of any legal disputes, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi/NCR, India. This ensures all proceedings are handled under Indian transport laws.
